Candidates can only apply to Oxford or Cambridge, not both.

Be Balanced - You need to try and convey not only your academic grades, but how you see yourself in the future, relevant work experience, what you enjoy doing outside of the curriculum, and present a rounded and balanced summary of yourself on paper.
Be Confident - If you get invited for an interview, your statement generally forms the basis of the questions they want to ask. So you need to be confident in your ability to expand on what you have said and explain in further detail if that is what they ask.
